Register to Vote
In order to qualify to vote you must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, resident of the district for 30 days immediately preceding the election and a registered voter.
If you are not registered, prospective voters can still register to vote with the local county board of elections by completing an online application with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Complete the application for an absentee ballot
First, you must fill out an application for an absentee ballot to confirm the reason why you will not be able to vote in person. There are three ways to obtain an absentee ballot application:
- You can download and print the application for an absentee ballot.
- You can contact the district clerk at 845-497-4000 Ext. 27001 or email her at crodriguez@wcsdk12.org and ask to have it mailed to you.
- You can visit the district clerk to fill it out in person at the WCSD Administration Building, 52 West Main Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992.
Actual ballots will be available to be picked up or mailed starting April 21, 2023.
