INTRO WORKSHOPS
- Designed to train, educate, challenge, and empower educators to create Culturally Responsive Classrooms.
- Topics include: Gender Equity, Anti-Semitism, Poverty, Immigration, People with Disabilities, Racism, LGBTQIA+
CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RACE
- Culturally and Literary Responsive Curriculum Practicum
- Course begins 9/26 from 3:30 to 6:30pm.
MIRRORS & WINDOWS: SELECTING AND REPRESENTING ALL STUDENTS IN LITERATURE AND HISTORY
- Examining the difference between literature that provides a mirror and a window to our students; we will explore literature and historical classroom teachings that have been harmful to all students, primarily students of color.
BOOK CLUB
A cooperative book study program focusing on multiple titles related to facilitating self-reflection and equitable teaching practices.
