Schools will be closed when snow or poor road conditions make travel difficult or impossible. School closings, delayed openings, and early dismissals resulting from weather conditions or other situations will be posted on the school website's homepage and sent out via Blackboard Connect voice, email, and text alerts. Additionally, alerts go out through our District mobile app.
Blackboard Connect is the most reliable, direct way to receive email news from the district and its schools, including emergency notifications, such as school closings/delays and emergency situations. Parents and guardians must confirm that their correct contact information is on file with the district, such as cell phone, address, and email addresses. Parents and guardians may not receive ConnectEd phone calls, emails, and text messages if this information is not correct in SchoolTool. Please log into the Parent Portal to ensure your information is accurate. If not, please contact your school’s main office for children in K-5 and the guidance department if your child is in 6-12.
