Washingtonville Teacher center hosts its first "Mentor Mixer"

The Washingtonville Teacher Center hosted its first “Mentor Mixer” on March 19, 2024. This event was hosted by Carla Sansone, the director of the Washingtonville Teacher Center to give new teachers an opportunity to collaborate district-wide. 

The event allowed mentors and mentees to share successes that the mentors and mentees have had together and set goals for the remained of the school year.

“It was a success and I plan to continue this new tradition every year,” said Mrs. Sansone. “It is so important for teachers to have the opportunity to collaborate and share their success stories.”
