Official Color Standards
Washingtonville Royal Blue and Washingtonville Gold should be the foundation of district-branded materials. Black and white may be used as supporting colors when needed for contrast, accessibility, or production requirements.

Keep Brandmarks Clear and Legible
- Use only approved files from this Brand Kit.
- Keep clear space around each brandmark. Do not crowd brandmarks with text, photos, borders, or other graphics.
- Do not stretch, compress, rotate, skew, recolor, outline, add effects, or modify brandmarks.
- Do not place brandmarks on backgrounds that reduce contrast or make them difficult to read.
- When using white SVG or PNG files, place them on a dark background to confirm they are visible.
- When using the Signet “W,” make sure the artwork has strong contrast with the background.
Choose the Correct File Type
SVG
Best for: Websites, and other scalable digital graphics this is the first choice for any digital use where the system accepts it.
Avoid for: Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other office programs that don't render SVG reliably and professional print or vendor production
PNG
Best for: Google Docs, Google Slides, PowerPoint, newsletters, and general digital materials that need a transparent background.
Avoid for: Professional print production when PDF, AI, or EPS is available.
JPG
Best for: Systems that require a flat image with a white background.
Avoid for: Transparent logos, colored backgrounds, and professional vendor production.
PDF, EPS, or AI
Best for: Professional print vendors, signs, banners, apparel, embroidery, promotional items, and designer/vendor production.
Vendor Files
Vendor-ready files such as EPS, AI, and print-production PDFs should be requested through the Communications Office. This helps ensure vendors receive the correct artwork, color instructions, and proofing requirements.
