17 WHS seniors sign to play at the collegiate level

Seventeen senior student-athletes from Washingtonville High School were recognized as they officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level during this year’s College Signing Celebration.

Family members, teammates and coaches packed the WHS gymnasium Wednesday afternoon as Athletic Director Suzanne Lendzian opened the ceremony by recognizing not only the accomplishments of the student-athletes, but also the support systems that helped them reach this milestone.

“Today is a special day as we recognize the hard work, dedication and commitment of our student-athletes as they take the next step in their academic and athletic journeys,” she said. “We are incredibly proud of each of you and grateful to the families, coaches, teachers and teammates who helped make this moment possible.”

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes! Check out the full list below to see where each student will continue their academic and athletic journey, and click here to view photos from the afternoon’s celebration!
