Washingtonville heads to NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Congratulations to the 14 student-athletes and coaching staff as they head to the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend! Last week, Washingtonville excelled at the Championship Qualifiers. See our athletes in action, including their event times below!

Cameron Snyder qualified with the NYS top time this season of 47.47.

Joe Mullan qualified in the 1600m run. His season best is 4:21.34.

Camryn Flynn punched her ticket to the NYS Championships by winning both the Triple Jump with her season best of 37’4” and the Long Jump in 17’9”, setting a new sophomore record.

Kenixander Vermenton wins the Pentathlon with a new school record of 3428 points. Keni is currently ranked second in NYS.

Avery Flynn breaks the sophomore class record in the Pentathlon by scoring 3007 points to earn her spot at the NYS Championships. Avery is currently ranked 6th in NYS.

The 4x800m relay of Lila Sinacori, Sydney Lozza, Elizabeth Roa and Alexis Wright earned a spot at the NYS Championships. This team is currently ranked 6th in NYS.
