Capital Project
Washingtonville Central School District is proposing a $43.4 million capital project to the voting community on Tuesday, May 21 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Washingtonville High School. Informed through the completion of the district’s state-mandated Building Condition Survey in 2023, the proposed project prioritizes health and safety, infrastructure, and athletic improvements to maintain, update, and enhance our existing school facilities.
Information on the proposed scope of work, total cost, and estimated tax impact can be found below. We encourage community members to attend upcoming Board of Education meetings or contact the district office with any questions.
NOTE: The capital project will be presented as two separate propositions on the ballot for the annual budget. The passing of Bond Proposition 3 is contingent on the passing of Bond Proposition 2.
When and Where do I vote?
The capital project vote will occur on the same day as the annual school budget vote. Polls will be open between 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 at Washingtonville High School, 54 West Main Street, Washingtonville, NY.
